E. M. North papers relating to the Indians of Indiana, 1911-1923.

Letters and manuscripts relating to E. M. North's research on the history of the Indians of Indiana. Included are manuscript and typed letters from Katherine Fisher (August 9, 1922), Daniel McDonald (February 27, 1911), and Benjamin F. Stuart (circa 1922 and February 29, 1911), written in response to North's requests for information on Fort Ouiatenon, the Potawatomi Indians, and the history of the Wabash River Valley. The manuscripts consist of one sixteen-page TM of writings by Dan McDonald on the "Coming of the Pottawattomie Indians"; a nineteen-page TM by an unidentified author on the Indians of the Wabash Valley; and a one-page AM in an unidentified hand regarding "Howe's Recollections" of John Walworth of Ashtabula County, Ohio.
