Leonore Gale Barette papers, 1862-1895.

Papers include Leonore Gale's diary kept while a student in 1895, describing daily activities, including comments on fashion, the weather, and the University of Oregon. Collection also includes numerous clippings reflecting the family interest in spiritualism and three family letters; and two small albums containing pre-1870 imprints and prospectuses from the Roseburg Ensign and Eugene City Hawkeye, all issued from the Gale family presses.
