Reminiscences. ca. 1930].

General thoughts about living as a Shaker for seventy-five years. Sadie and a sister moved to New Lebanon in 1855, when they were 6 and 8 years old. They were educated and began the weaving of palm leaves while they were children. The account is very short and contains few details of her life. One of the pages is written on 19th century Church Family library stationery that bears an illustration of a building from the New Lebanon, N.Y., Shaker community.
