Carbon copy of a typed letter : [Beverly Hills, Calif.], to Frank Conniff, 1952 Feb. 14.

Responding to his remarks on the film Viva Zapata! in his East Side, West Side column. Noting that he was astonished to read his comments and cannot imagine who gave him misleading information about the reaction of the Mexican government to the film. Defending the topic and the film's treatment of it and noting that the Mexican government approved of the film. Discussing Zapata's politics, citing several examples to demonstrate that he was not a communist, but was rather pro-democracy.
