A 5 p. letter from Jean Farley McLaughlin (Mrs. Julien) Levy to Sam Burchell, Senior Editor at Architectural Digest, in which she writes about her late husband and his passion for art. The letter was written to Burchell in response to his request for information relating to the feature Architectural Digest was preparing on the Levy residence in Connecticut. Also included is a color xerox of the article by Calvin Tompkins "The Collectors: A Reflection of Surrealism: The Julien Levy Collection in New England" which appeared in the August 1981 issue of Archictectural Digest.
