Noting that he was planning to write a long letter, but that since he will soon be in the vicinity of New York City they should meet in person. Praising the script for Viva Zapata!, noting that the first draft is a "prodigious piece of work, and when you go over it and finish it, it will become one of the few great screenplays in motion picture history."
