Correspondence, field notes, manuscripts, newspaper miscellaneous printed material and ephemera, etc., gathered in the preparation of Wood's master's thesis. Box 1: drafts and notes. Box 2: field notes. Box 3: publications regarding Filipino immigration, copies of acts, bills, and report from the United States Congrees, and business and calling cards from people interviewed. Box 4: reports and publications from the Bureau of Labor and the California Cooperative for Crop Services and other state agencies. Oversize folder 1: 2 copies of Filipino American newspapers, 1929, 1931. Oversize folder 2: standard picking agreement; map of Filipino population in the U.S., 1930; 2 printed charts re picking. Oversize folder 3: 3 manuscript charts re picking. Reel 1 includes contents of box 1 (402 frames); reel 2, contents of box 1 (frames 1-154) and box 2 (frames 155-392); reel 3, contents of box 2 (454 frames); reel 4, contents of box 2 (frames 1-108), box 3 (frames 109-125), and oversize folder 1 (frames 326-337).

Biography Paul Schuster Taylor (1895-1984), an Iowa-born economist, graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1917. He served as a Marine captain with the Second Division, American Expeditionary Forces in France from 1917 to 1919.
