Letters to various friends and colleagues include: two letters to Francesco Palermo, librarian of the Palatine Library, discussing Duprè's monument to Wellington and his sculpture of the Emperor Heraclitus; two letters to Achille Forino Conzoni; two letters to Auguste Delâtre; and letters to various correspondents discussing his reputation in France, sculptural aesthetics, and commissions for monuments. The collection also includes a one page biographical note in ms. and a lengthy article on Duprè from "Il Mondo Illustrato" (1847).
