Correspondence, photographs, and books. Includes manuscript (4 volumes) of his "William Thompson, Baron Kelvin of Largs," 1910, and a lecture on the compass, 1907. The books include a first edition of William Gilbert's, De Magnete, 1600. The portrait of the professor by Hubert Herkomer is on permanent loan to the college.
