Gershom Bulkley letter, 1696 June 3, to Joseph Bulkley.

Letter from Gershom Bulkley of Wethersfield, Connecticut, to his nephew Joseph Bulkley of Fairfield, Connecticut, refuting the claims made against Mercy Holbridge (later Disborough) who was accused of having a child out of wedlock while working for Gershom Bulkley. He calls the man who brought these charges, James Redfin, a complete liar. Joseph and his wife gave testimony in the case.
