Roswell Park telegrams, letters, and reminiscences of McKinley week, 1901.

Three telegrams received by Park, Sept. 1901, including one from Gov. Frank W. Higgins, asking for information on the president's condition; two letters, one from J. Collins Warren, Boston, 17 Sept. 1901, expressing his support of Dr. Park, the other from P. M. Rixey, Canton, Ohio, 22 Sept. 1901, stating that he and his associates have conducted the case "in a thoroughly dignified and professional manner", and that he is rapidly putting together his report; and Park's reminiscences of his role as medical director of the Pan-American Exposition and the events surrounding the assassination of President McKinley. Includes notes by Julian Park regarding questions raised by the reminiscences.

On Sept. 5, 1901 he and his wife were attending the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York when he was shot by as assassin waiting in line to shake his hand.
