Autograph letter signed : London, to Jane Clark, "Saturday" [before 1959 June 12].

Changing an appointment to dine on Thursday the 9th, asking her to lunch with Sitwell instead of Sitwell traveling to her, citing the need to smooth over a misunderstanding with Geoffrey Gorer. Noting that she will not be reciting at the Wigmore Hall on the 9th, but mentioning that she will give a recitation at the Festival Hall on Sunday July 5.

Kenneth Clark was an art historian and a patron of the arts. He was born in London, and educated at Winchester and Trinity College, Oxford, where he gained a second class in modern history. In the autumn of 1925, art historian Bernard Berenson asked him to assist him in the revision of his corpus of Florentine drawings.
