Murray (b.1948) was in the Navy from 1967 to 1969, including service in Vietnam with the Marine Corps from December of 1968 to April of 1969. After his discharge, he became a paramedic and worked in Madison (Wisconsin), Milwaukee, South Dakota, and Appleton (Wisconsin).
