Architectural drawings of Association building by Henry Lord Gay of Chicago, 1878 and specifications for subsequent additions and renovations to the building. Women with a Vision, by Grace J. Potts and Cheryl Lyon-Jenness, 1997, a history of the association. Two 16mm films, "Industry on Parade, Design for Highway Safety," and "General Federations of Women's Club Convention, 1967." Kalamazoo Ladies' Library Association was the first women's club organized in Michigan, and the third in the United States. The organization met in various places beginning in 1852, and in 1879 they began meeting in the present Ladies' Library Association building.
