Clock, ca. 1785-1795.

Tall-case clock. The hood has a molded broken-scroll pediment with carved rosettes, a central urn-and-flame finial on a fluted plinth, urn-and-flame finials on fluted plinths above the corners, a molded arch above the door, free-standing columns at the corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. The waist has molding at the cornice, chamfered front corners, and a rectangular case door with indented corners. The base has molding at the top and bottom, a molded rectangular panel with indented corners, chamfered corners, and claw-and-ball feet. The dial has arabic numerals, twin hemispheres and moon phase with a painted landscape in the lunette, painted cornucopias, a calendar aperture, and eight day movement. Detail of dial.
