Clock, ca. 1797-1801.

Walnut tall-case clock. The hood has a molded broken-scroll pediment with carved rosettes, a central pinecone finial of a plinth, vase-and-spire finials on fluted plinths above the corners, a molded arch above the door, free-standing fluted columns at the corners, a glazed door with an astragal top, and circular windows on the sides. The waist has an overhanging cornice with applied molding, fluted quarter columns at the front corners, and a rectangular case door with indented top corners. The base has molding at the top and bottom, fluted quarter columns at the corners, and ogee bracket feet. The dial has roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, a small second hand in the center, twin hemispheres and moon phase in the lunette, and eight day movement. Detail of dial.
