Clock, ca. 1770-1780.

Tall-case clock. The hood has a molded broken-scroll pediment with a carved rosette on the left but missing from the right, a central urn finial, a molded arch above the door, free-standing columns at the corners, and a glazed door with an astragal top. The waist has molding at the top, fluted quarter columns at the front corners, and a rectangular case door with indented corners. The base has molding at the top and bottom, a molded rectangular panel with indented corners, fluted quarter columns at the corners, and ogee bracket feet. The dial has roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, a small second hand with arabic numerals in the center, twin hemispheres and moon phase with a painted landscape in the lunette, painted flowers and berries, and eight day movement.
