Mahogany armchair with serpentine crest rail below central arch with gilded rising sun emblem; rounded ears; carved, pierced splat; canted stiles; leather upholstered arms with scrolled terminals and S-curving supports with acanthus leaf carving; seat upholstered in leather over the rail; Marlborough legs with gilded terminals, canted in back, joined by H-form stretchers.
