Clippings relating to his political and literary life, photographs, documents, etc. Collected by Wilfred Meynell before, during, and after writing his biography. With manuscripts notes and descriptions by Meynell. Includes 18 a. l. s. of Disraeli, two other autograph letters (one written by Sarah Disraeli and one by Mrs. Gore, the novelist) and a handwritten documents; a large folio volume with about 300 mounted clippings, and a number of handwritten entries, including a complete transcript of Disraeli's maiden speech in the House of Commons ; a quarto volume containing about 120 portraits and caricatures of Disraeli; 14 sheets of obituary notices mounted on both sides (numbered as 30p.) ; an album containing one mounted article and about 16 loose clippings.
