Contains correspondence, memoranda, reports and other papers relating to the creation of a chair in Sino-Vietnamese history as a memorial to Kenneth T. Young. Includes solicitations and prospects for financial support of the K. T. Young Memorial Fund, to be used to set up the chair, as well as material relating to Vietnamese studies and correspondence of Kenneth T. Young. Young, a Harvard graduate and ambassador to Thailand, was an expert on Vietnamese-U.S. relations. He also taught an undergraduate course on Vietnam.
