Robert Fox was born in 1943 in Brooklyn, NY. He obtained his BA in English from Brooklyn College and his MA in English from Ohio University. He taught creative writing and English at Ohio University and Rider College in Trenton, NY. He was writer-in-residence (Literary Coordinator) with the Ohio Arts Council and the editor of the Carpenter Press, established in 1974.
