Letter to Arthur Gilman arranging to meet him earlier than planned in order to visit "Harvard College" beforehand and asking to bring "a young Englishman" who wants to accompany her. She also mentions a Miss Pattison, who is pleased with the recognition of her work and regrets she cannot accompany them due to rehearsal. She is writing of Kate Pattison, the English actress. Written on stationery of the United States Hotel, Boston; mounted, with a brief printed biographical sketch pasted on the mount.
