Georgiana Goddard King graduated from Bryn Mawr College with an A.B. in 1896. She was a philosophy fellow in 1897 and a fellow in English in 1897-98. She studied for a year in France and then taught in Miss Graham's School, New York City, until 1906. She returned to Bryn Mawr College in 1906 as a Reader in English, and in 1911 she became Lecturer in History of Art and Comparitive Literature.
