Most of correspondence deals with professional matters between colleagues within the economic scholarly community. Also photocopies of handwritten letters from Hansen to Salant. Research material includes notes, manuscripts, and typescripts reflecting many of Hansen's interests, but most deals with government work in planning post-World War II economy, with the federal reserve system, and employment planning.
