Oral history interview with Mrs. Dorothy Crouse, 1995 May 13 / conducted by Robert J. Mayer. 1995.

This interview is one of a series dealing particularly with the controversy over the doctrine of Scripture in the Advent Christian Church. It is part of the background to Mayer's An account of the Advent Christian controversy over the Bible's inspiration (Thesis (D. Min.)--Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, 1997). Key ingredients in the debate were the relationship between Aurora College and Berkshire Christian College, between New England and the rest of the denomination, and the biennial general conference at Montreat, N.C., in 1964. Key personnel were Ray Beecroft, Polly Reed, Moses Crouse, Edwin K. Gedney, Lloyd Richardson, and David A. Dean. This particular interview is with the widow of Moses Crouse, who was a longtime teacher of Bible and theology at Aurora College.
