Oral history interview with A. Cameron Ainsworth 1995 June 1 / conducted by Robert J. Mayer. 1995.

This interview is one of a series dealing particularly with the controversy over the doctrine of Scripture in the Advent Christian Church. It is part of the background to Mayer's An account of the Advent Christian controversy over the Bible's inspiration (Thesis (D. Min.)--Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, 1997). Key ingredients in the debate were the relationship between Aurora College and Berkshire Christian College, between New England and the rest of the denomination, and the biennial general conference at Montreat in 1964. Key personnel were Ray Beecroft, Polly Reed, Moses Crouse, Edwin K. Gedney, and David A. Dean. This particular interview focuses on the part that the interviewee's father, Ariel C. Ainsworth, played in the controversy as a techer and president of Berkshire Christian College.
