Materials related to the Isaiah Thomas Award in Publishing and its recipients. The award is presented annually by the Rochester Institute of Technology's School of Print Media to an individual in honor of his or her contributions to the field of newspaper publishing. The collection includes programs, speeches, clippings, and other related material. The Isaiah Thomas Award in Publishing collection includes information on the award's recipients. There is a file on each recipient that contains clippings on the individual and their selection, as well as memorabilia from the award ceremony. For instance, many of the files contain copies of the ceremony's program, as well as a keepsake copy of the recipients acceptance speech. As of June 2011, the collection contains files through 2005.
