Photographs and glass plate negatives taken by photographer Howard Sands of Portland, Or., circa 1920-1937. Most of the photographs depict various places and landscape views in Oregon, including Mount Bachelor, Mount Hood, the Columbia River Gorge, Multnomah Falls, and the University of Oregon, as well as businesses, gardens, and residences in the Portland area. Some of the photographs were taken by other photographers, and some are pasted to Christmas greetings that Sands sent out to friends and family. Includes postcards. This collection is only partially processed.
