The collection contains two positive blueprint sheets for the Ansco-Brady traveling Civil War exhibit layout, dated 3-17-61; three news releases from Ansco publicizing the exhibit; exhibit catalog from the IBM Gallery of Arts & Sciences, New York City, 6-24 Feb. 1961; copies of ten of the photographs (with captions) used in the exhibit in the IBM Gallery; a two-sided broadside, "Ansco Civil War Centennial Exhibit," with ten photographic reproductions of Mathew Brady photographs of Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses Grant, Robert E. Lee, P.G.T. Beauregard, George Armstrong Custer, Richmond in ruins, outer trenches in the siege of Petersburg, Confederate soldiers on a Fredericksburg bridge, candid shot of Grant and his staff at Bethesda Church before the Battle of Cold Harbor, and Fort Sedgwick; a clipping from the Centre Daily Times [June 1961] announcing the exhibit at the Bellefonte, Pa. YMCA, 5-12 June [1961].
