114 photographic images relocated from the Edward P. Cliff papers (MSS 13). The photographs are mostly publicity prints that document Mr. Cliff's career as a forester and a forest service employee including ceremonies, conferences, Forest Service activities, and meeting with high-ranking government officials as well as politicians (including JFK, and Lyndon B. Johnson). Also included are several photos of Woodsy Owl and Smokey the Bear. The majority of photographs are from 1962 to 1972.

Born in Heber City, Utah, Cliff graduated from Utah State Agricultural College in 1931 with a degree in forestry. He began his career in 1934 in the Cache National Forest, Utah.
