John V. Dittemore papers concerning Mary Baker Eddy 1850-1931.

John V. Dittemore was a director of the First Church of Christ, Scientist and the co-author, with Ernest Sutherland Bates, of Mary Baker Eddy; the truth and the tradition (1933). The papers consist of Dittemore's notebook, typed transcripts of letters, photographs, and reproductions of other documents relating to the life and ancestry of Mary Baker Eddy. Also included are newspaper clippings concerning disputes between different factions within the Church leadership.
