This collection is comprised of Civil War pension records and one photograph of Josiah Marvel of Brownsburg, Indiana. The pension records were received from the Bureau of Archives, Washington, D.C. and consist of a voucher for pension 1898; recommendation for pension with date of discharge as February 21,1862 by reason of disability; pension for May 24,1912; widow's pension for Nancy Marvel, December 1913. Also included is a marriage license for Josiah Marvel and Nancy Wilson and a copy of Josiah's obituary.
