The earliest mention of the Office of Registrar is in the 1912-13 catalog for Edinboro State Normal School. It appears the duties of the registrar at this time did not include accepting tuition payments, as it did later. The 1913-14 catalog instructed that the President accepted payments on behalf of the board. Starting in the 1930s, the office accepted tuition payments, as well as did the scheduling.
