Oregon School of Arts and Crafts records, 1905-1990.

Records of a school in Portland, Oregon, founded in 1905-1906 by Julia Hoffman and Margaret Watkins. Originally called the Arts and Crafts Society of Portland, the school was originally affiliated with the Portland Art Museum and later developed joint programs with Marylhurst College. The collection includes administrative and financial records, public relations materials, staff and student files. The bulk of the records date from the 1970s and 1980s, with some files from the 1930s through the 1960s, and scattered materials from earlier decades.
