Humphrey family papers, 1816-1871.

Primarily muster rolls, returns, and regimental and company orders issued to or by Dayton and Benajah Humphrey of Simsbury, Connecticut. They both commanded, at different times, the 17th Regiment of Connecticut Militia. Includes the distribution of the estate of Elisha Humphrey, 1816, the inventory of Abner Humphrey's estate, 1821, a receipt, 1871, and an undated plot plan used as scratch paper.
