[2010].

The R/V Brooks McCall departed on July 4, 2010 from Fourchon, La. to collect data in the Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi Canyon. From July 5 to July 6 2010, water samples were collected at 6 stations (BM112--BM117) for particle size distribution measurements using the LISST-100X particle counter, a total of 109 LISST samples were analyzed, including duplicates. Samples at depths of elevated fluorescence or other significance were selected from the CTD trace for fluorescence intensity ratio measurements and analyzed using a Quantech Life Sciences fixed wavelength fluorometer. On July 7, 2010, day three of the Brooks McCall cruise 11, there was no water sampling collected due to rough conditions and safety concerns, time was used to tidy up data and organize equipment and logistics for the next voyage on July 10, 2010.
