The R/V Brooks McCall departed on June 4, 2010 to collect data in the Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi Canyon. From June 5 to June 7, 2010, water samples were collected at 10 stations (BM65-BM74) for particle size distribution measurements using the LISST-100X particle counter, a total of 170 LISST samples were analyzed, including duplicates. Samples at depths of elevated fluorescence were selected from the CTD trace for fluorescence intensity ratio measurements and analyzed using a Quantech Life Sciences fixed wavelength fluorometer.
