[Subsurface response to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The R/V Brooks McCall departed Port Fourchon to collect data in the Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi Canyon. From May 33 to June 1, 2010. Water samples were collected at 12 stations (B53-B64) for particle size distribution measurements using the LISST-100X particle counter. A total of 152 LISST samples were analyzed, including duplicates. Selected samples were also collected and stored for shore based fluorescence intensity ratio measurements.
