Abstract

Spiritual Christian journal kept by an educated Jane Bayard Kirkpatrick, August 1819 through June 1823. The journal is an introspective record and meditation on her religious and personal struggles with her own invalid state and the death of her daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband. The first page is a reading list from 1819-1821. Her journal also comments and quotes from her reading.
