Consists of Wood's research for the article "James Kipp: Upper Missouri River Fur Trader and Missouri Farmer," for North Dakota History, Journal of the Northern Plains, Vol. 77 No. 1 & 2, 2011. Wood organized his research and sources into the following headings: census, maps, genealogy, Catlin, newspapers, Abel-Chardon, biographies-obituaries, Lt. Bradley, miscellaneous, GLO, Mattison, Kipp Rec. area, USGS/soil, Laramie ' 51, carpenter, Joe Kipp, Maximilian, Jim Arthur, Missouri Historical Society, farm, Garreau/Laid laur, lot 41 and cemeteries. The collection also contains a disc of Wood's files. The published article was photocopied and added to the collection.
