Hopkins expresses his regrets for his inability to comply with Shaw's wishes, but suggests that he can see lithographs of Wm. Pendleton and a fine collection of Gothic churches at the Athenaeum in Boston. He also speaks of his new book and compares it to that of Dr. Chapman.
