Contains mostly correspondence between Hagedorn and Vincent (Momo's Press founder). Topics covered include her appearances and publishing activities with Momo's Press. Also includes two issues of Shocks magazine (No. 3-4, and 5), programs, brochures, announcements, and book reviews pertaining to her work. Also Includes a photocopy typescript with a few manuscript annotations for her book "Dangerous Music," and a cover mock-up for another book, "Pet Food & Tropical Apparitions." Contains four prints for the series "Petfood Suite," signed and dated (1981) by the artist Rick Powell, and one typescript poem "The Leopard," signed by Hagedorn (1983).

Jessica Tarahata Hagedorn was born in Manila in 1949. She moved to San Francisco in 1963, where she studied at the American Conservatory Theater. In 1978 she moved to New York, where she continues to work as a playwright, novelist, short story writer, poet and performance artists.
