Bernard Lassus, landscape designer, born 1929 in Chamaliè€res (Puy de Dò‚me), France. Began as a painter; and from 1960, also worked as a kinetic and installation artist. His major achievements as a landscape architect are the Parc de la Corderie Royale, Rochefort-sur-Mer (1982-1996), and his landscaping works on French motorways.
