Alexander Duer Harvey collection of Martin Van Buren correspondence, 1814-1866.

The Alexander Duer Harvey collection consists of sixteen original letters from Martin Van Buren to various correspondents, fourteen letters from the Vanderpoel family to the Van Burens, and a diary written by John Van Buren for his father during his 1838-1839 trip to England. It also includes 92 letters with photocopies of letters to Martin Van Buren primarily written by his son John.
