Sigmund Rader was a violin teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was born in 1894 in Pietrokov, Poland and studied music at the Budapest Conservatory of Music. He came to San Francisco in the early 1920s and opened music studios on McAllister Street in San Francisco and at the Leamington Hotel in Oakland. His pupils included Harry Cykman. Rader was the founder and first conductor of the San Francisco Jewish Folk Chorus. He married Adele Feiner in 1928. From the description of Sig...
