Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company personnel records, circa 1940-1979.

This collection consists of personnel records of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, including three post-binders created circa 1940 which document personnel hired as early as 1900 and until 1957: one binder is labelled for operators and agents in the Pittsburgh division; one for conductors, brakemen, and switch tenders in the Eastern Sub-Division; and another titled "Employees Out of Service, M to Mc." Records include employee job titles, rates of pay, and any incidents on the job. The collection also includes a handwritten log of 934 injuries for 1979.
