MacCurdy family papers, ca. 1876-1894.

This collection contains the correspondence of Evelyn MacCurdy Salisbury to her husband, Edward Elbridge Salisbury. Edward Salisbury was a professor at Yale University. His wife, upon her death, left money to Yale for the creation of a Charles J. MacCurdy professorship of anthropology, to be first held by her cousin, George Grant MacCurdy. Also included is a book of recipes, some in German and the rest in English.
