Strasenburgh Wall scrapbook circa 1959

Scrapbook of clippings and photographs relating to the Strasenburgh Wall, a mural created for and installed in the lobby of R.J. Strasenburgh Laboratories by artist Franz Wildenhain in 1959. The Strasenburgh Wall scrapbook consists of biographical information on artist Frans Wildenhain, an essay by Wildenhain describing the symbolism of the mural, newsprint clippings, and photographs. Photos (black and white as well as color) document the mural construction process and installation, the completed mural, and images of Wildenhain.
