Marguerite Appel (MA) was born in Bushton, Kansas in 1907. She received her A.B. from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and her M.A. from the University of Minnesota. Prior to working at Ohio University (OU), MA held positions at high schools in Kansas and Michigan, and also worked at Indiana University.
