Minutes of a club formed in Willimantic, Connecticut, for the study and practice of music. At each meeting there was a musical performance, which was recorded in the minutes. The volume is supplemented by essays on various topics including a biography of Rossini himself, Walden Pond, Chopin, Life of Elizabeth Stuart Phelps, the Hundred Years War and Danish Invasions; a treasurer's report, 1892; program for an 1892 musicale; and the club's constitution.
